CRAIG MICHAEL JAMIESON

Craig graduated from the University of Natal, Pietermartizburg with a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) [B.Com] and Bachelor of Law [LLB] degree before leaving the country to play “professional” rugby in Italy. On his return in he joined the stock broking firm, Fergusson Brothers, Hall Stewart and Company Inc. (now part of the Investec Group) where he operated as a portfolio and investment manager for a number of years. During this period he captained Natal Rugby to their first ever Currie Cup rugby title and then entered the business of Sport when he was appointed as the managing director of the Natal Rugby Union.

In 1993 Craig was appointed by the International Rugby Board as the Tournament Director for the 1995 Rugby World Cup and was responsible for the successful staging and management of the tournament in South Africa. Post Rugby World Cup he re-entered the financial world and has since been a director of numerous companies in this and other sectors. His main focus and strength lies in the field of corporate finance, legal, and strategic management and he has widespread experience in international financial structuring.
