I am the Franchise owner of Aldes Business Brokers Zululand with an office in Richards Bay and a sub office in Empangeni and I live in Mtunzini.  I have lived and worked in Zululand for 28 years.   During that time I have run my own construction business, undertaken property developments, and run a Real Estate Business.

I have invested in Commercial and Industrial property in Richards Bay and Empangeni over the years and I now own a large property portfolio.
I have a degree in Civil Engineering, a diploma in Commercial and Industrial Property, a Certificate in Estate Agency and I am a qualified Business Broker.  My experience in my own businesses, together with my network of contacts, puts me in a great position to be able to serve the needs of both buyers and sellers of businesses in Zululand.

Barry Stofberg

I have been in retail for the past 18 years. During this time I assisted in taking the family hardware business from being independently owned and run, to joining one of the most successful hardware brands in the country, and owner managed this for a number of years. I have also been involved with other retail operations and currently own a successful franchise in Empangeni. 
The experience I have gained over these years puts me in an ideal position to assist business owners in selling their businesses, and matching suitable buyers for them. Zululand Aldes Business Brokers owned by Terry Breen the dealer principle for many years, is a recognised and respected institution in Zululand, part of a national franchise that has been operating for the past 30 years.  I have been tasked with heading the Richards Bay office, covering the area as far North as Pongola

Lyal Brown

After working for First National Bank for 37 years, I took early retirement, and settled in the coastal village of Mtunzini on the Zululand North Coast. During my last eight years with First National Bank, I was Branch Manager of Eshowe branch and Agricultural Relationship Manager of Eshowe, Melmoth and Mandini branches of First National Bank.  Working with businesses men and farmers in the Zululand area, on their banking requirements gave me a good insight into the running of businesses. This also gave me the opportunity to build a large network of contacts in the farming and business arenas in Zululand.

My banking background has given me a clear understanding of small and medium sized businesses. This enables me to assist potential buyers of businesses to make informed decisions.

I am actively involved in the local community serving on various club committees.

My recreational interests are ski boat fishing and golf.
