In the capable hands of New Zealand producers and scriptwriters, and
under the directorship of an internationally renowned
 director,
Frederick Du Chau (Disney’s ‘Underdog’ and Warner Bros ‘Racing
Stripes’), Precious is to start filming later this year.
Precious McKenzie himself, has worked closely
with the scriptwriters/directors and will play a large part in the
marketing and development of this work. With South Africa as the
chosen location for filming, and A-list actors approached for the
lead roles, this movie is set to take Cannes by storm when it
premieres in May 2009. A story of triumph over adversity, of the
strength of the human spirit this is the type of movie everyone
wants to see, and as such, it is aimed at the mainstream market.
Precious has the potential for great returns for the investors.
At present, private finance is actively being sought by Aldes
Business Brokers on behalf of Morcan Motion Pictures. All
investments for sums over R1m will be held in trust while final
details are wrapped up prior to filming. Returns in this
industry are massive – budgets of $4m - $15m have seen returns of
$35m – $356m.
